Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 15 Nov. 1991. Van Wagenen describes his early life and talks about his memories of World War II. He reflects on rationing, savings programs, patriotism, and the impact of the war on family life. He also tells about his brother's military service.
